<h3 style="text-align: center;"><strong> Does my Generation Have a Role in America’s Future?</strong></h3>
<p><strong><br />
</strong></p>
<p>Ronald Reagan, our 40th President, once said the following:</p>
<p>“Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn&#8217;t pass it on to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children what it was once like in the United States when men were free.”</p>
<p>The consequences of not following this piece of advice from the late President is dawning on us more clearer than ever in our nation today. It is becoming increasingly clear to more and more Americans every day that we have failed to raise a generation full of loyal Americans of faith who will fight for God and their Country to their dying breath. The complacency and inaction by the masses of Americans in recent years can be summed up in just a few words: The distortion of the American dream. When our founding fathers set up a Republic in which liberty could take the place of tyranny, and of which the entrepreneurial spirit would take place over the taxation without representation that existed under the rule of the British, they were pursuing the American dream! In the Declaration of Independence this was titled: The Rights to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.<br />
Centuries later, Martin Luther King was to reiterate is in his famous speech, where he said: I have a dream that one day our nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of it’s creed: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal.”</p>
<p>It was that spirit of Americanism that broke free of the constraints placed on the people by the British Government that resulted in economic and religious oppression on the colonists, and replaced it with The Great Experiment, where  immigrants came from around the world  in order to pursue happiness in a country where government oppression was non-existent.</p>
<p>But sadly, over time the American dream has been distorted from it&#8217;s original meaning, and is now thought to mean something entirely different. Whereas the American Dream used to be interpreted as happiness obtained by thrift and hard work, now when many Americans hear of the American Dream, they think of it as a promise to instant riches.</p>
<p>Due to this shift in thinking, Americans have become lazy. They have failed as a whole to pass on the willingness to fight for and protect our freedom for future generation&#8217;s enjoyment. They have grown complacent in their imagined security, convinced that it will always be the way it is now, that we will always live with the freedom and prosperity that we now enjoy and that there is no outstanding threat to that security that could take it away from them.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">However, as a direct result of this complacency, we are seeing the demise of the freedoms that so many have fought and died for. We see the evidence of this demise everywhere, from the tragedy of 9/11, to the complete wall of separation of faith in God and the public arena. It is becoming obvious that our laziness has taken it’s toll, and it is a hefty price to pay.</p>
<p>However, I for one still have faith in the future of America. Americans are slowly waking up to the battle at hand, and we are seeing more and more outcry from groups around the country who have had enough of the trampling of their rights, and demand the restoration of their lost liberties. The accessibility and abundance of information in this generation is staggering, however confusing the President may think it is for us to comprehend. I suggest to you that we are seeing an American Revival stronger than any in recent history. Americans are energized and ready to fight diligently (yet peacefully) in order to take back the liberty that has been lost. In spite of the hindrances that our opponents have placed that ensure difficulty for anyone who attempts to educate their children to be protectors of liberty, our citizens have succeeded in bringing up youth who will sustain the spirit of Americanism that used to be so abundant nationwide,</p>
<p>You may question my hope in the youth of tomorrow, after all, it has become clear to most of us that the majority of our youth are asleep to the issues that afflict our country, and either ignorant of or unresponsive to the duties of an American citizen to uphold the liberties of our citizenry. Instead of protecting those liberties that are granted by God and protected by the government and the people alike when the right balance of power is preserved, these entitlement seekers would rather stay asleep to the obligations that they owe their country because they either don&#8217;t know or don&#8217;t care about the implications of doing otherwise.</p>
<p>But in spite of the large group of opposition by entitlement seekers, I remain hopeful because of the presence of so many others who seek enlightenment rather than entitlement. These brave men and women are unafraid to stand up for what is right, and are prepared for the fight.</p>
<p>I remain hopeful because those who stand with me know their history, and they realize that it has been proven time and time again that when people abide by the principles of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for all, there will be prosperity, but when they stray from those principles, there will be destitution.</p>
<p>And lastly, I remain hopeful because our side is faithful to God, and will pray for  His supreme guidance every step of the way, comparing their thoughts and  actions to that of His Word in case they are inconsistent with His Will  for us.</p>
<p>It is the job of our generation to fix the wrongs of it&#8217;s predecessors, and to uphold the principles of our founding.</p>
<p>However, it will most certainly not be an easy one. The opposition is large, and as has become obvious in recent times, they are good at organizing. If we are to defeat them, then we must actively oppose them at every turn. Those who would take away our freedoms have been long at work, and there is much to be undone.</p>
<p>We are outnumbered as well. There are few who are willing to join us in our efforts. But we can accomplish our task if we preserver. God bless us as we pursue the American Dream as it was originally conceived.</p>

		<title>Cap and Trade: Organized Crime Between the Progressive Giants</title>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>It is time that you know, if you do not already, about the estimated $15 trillion scheme that is Cap and Trade. What is it, and how is it going to affect us if passed into law? Well, Cap and Trade is a bill that, according to its advocates, will drastically improve the &#8220;crisis&#8221; of global warming by reducing carbon output throughout the United States. However, its adversaries realize that this is not the intent of progressives footing this bill (which by the way includes our current President). Instead, Cap and Trade is an organized attempt at redistribution of wealth from you the taxpayer to the progressive agencies and politicians who are lucky enough to be in the &#8220;in-crowd&#8221; at the White House.</p>
<p>In this article you will see how Cap and Trade accomplishes this feat, and who exactly is benefiting from it. It is highly important that we get this information out to as many as possible, so I ask that you click on the &#8220;share&#8221; button underneath this article and post it to your twitter, facebook, myspace or any other social networking website listed that suits you. Furthermore, I challenge you to look up everything I say and determine for yourself to see if the arguments that I present to you are reliable. After all, if you are debating with a progressive over the effects of Cap and Trade, you need to be able to provide a better defense than &#8220;because Glenn Beck or Teens for Liberty said so&#8221;.</p>
<p>As I said before, Cap and Trade is disguised as a bill that will reduce carbon output throughout the States. This will supposedly be done by allowing  the creation and trading of &#8220;carbon credits&#8221; between factories in the US. These credits represent carbon dioxide released into the atmosphere. Thus, the more credits, the more carbon dioxide you are allowed to put into the atmosphere. However, if this was really about saving the planet then there would be  no allowing of the trading of these credits between factories.</p>
<p>Furthermore, the Cap and Trade legislation, if passed, will enforce regulations on gas emissions by forcing companies that emit  more gas to give money to companies that emit less gas (Marxism!), all the while providing the Marxists with a get rich quick fix.</p>
<p>In order for this scheme to work, the progressives need a market for their &#8220;carbon credits&#8221;. Since they are selling imaginary items, they need to set up a market specifically for those items because no existing market will sell them. Enter the Joyce Foundation. The Joyce Foundation, on whose Board of Directors President Barrack Obama served in 2000 and 2001  gave nearly $1.1 million in two separate grants that were  “instrumental in developing and launching the privately-owned Chicago  Climate Exchange, which now calls itself “North America’s only cap and  trade system for all six greenhouse gases, with global affiliates and  projects worldwide.”</p>
<p>Now that the progressives have set up a market for their invisible products, they are in need of investors who will buy into the CCX. Not surprisingly, Al Gore&#8217;s company Generation Investment Management is one of the ones to buy into the CCX. Another company to pitch in is Goldman Sachs with the purchase of 10% of the Exchange.It is my opinion that the public trials of Goldman Sachs are just a distraction from the real deal. Goldman Sachs is posing as a scapegoat for Cap and Trade in order to get a piece of the multi trillion dollar pie as an end result.</p>
<p>So now that they have the market and some people who will buy into it, they are going to need the technology to run their new market.</p>
<p>Not to worry, here comes Franklin Reins, former CEO of Fannie Mae, who purchases the patent on November 7th, 2006. November 7th being the day following  the Democrat&#8217;s take over of Congress.  No doubt Reins waited until then so that he would have the assurance that enough members of Congress would back this bill before patenting it.</p>
<p><strong>Side Note- I wonder, what the BoD over at Fannie thought about their CEO buying this technology? Fannie is a Government Sponsored Enterprise whose purpose,  as stated in their mission statement: is to &#8220;</strong><strong>provide liquidity, stability and affordability to the U.S.  housing  and mortgage markets.&#8221;</strong></p>
<p>At this point in our investigation, we see that the progressives have pulled together a get rich quick market on which they can, well, get rich quick on. Furthermore, they can promote their socialist agenda all the while by regulating companies that emit more gas to give money to companies that emit less  gas (This is where the Cap and Trade legislation comes in. Although it hasn&#8217;t passed yet, Republicans and Democrats are both working on it). They have investors who will buy into the CCX, and they have the technology to fuel this market.</p>
<p>They even have a means of escaping the consequences of their actions when they are caught red handed.</p>
<p>Whenever progressive&#8217;s are caught in their trickery, they dissolve into a maze of various progressive networks. For example, you may have heard that ACORN recently disbanded due to video evidence of ACORN speaking to two undercover conservative activists posing as a pimp and prostitute, where the activists ask two employees about how to shield their work  from state and federal tax requirements. The supposed pimp also appears  to ask the employees how to conceal underage girls from El Salvador  brought into the country illegally to work for him.</p>
<p>After this video was produced, we heard of several ACORN chapters disbanding and its Federal funding being revoked. If you were like me, your first reaction was excitement that this shadowy organization that purportedly engaged in voter fraudulence in a close election that ended in favor of a marxist candidate for the Presidency was finally getting what it deserved.</p>
<p>However, after a closer look, it appears that ACORN is not disbanding, but rather transforming. Several chapters have been melting into other progressive groups around the country that share the same goals. Don&#8217;t believe me? Hear it from the words of <a href="http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=125073113">Bertha  Lewis, CEO of ACORN</a>:</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;First of all, let  me set the record straight. Rumors of our demise have been greatly  exaggerated.  We are transforming, of course. I&#8217;ve been transforming this  organization since June of 2008. And, yes, we&#8217;ve had our financial  woes, and, yes, we are fighting an unconstitutional ban on any  government funding.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>In an interview with Lewis that  <em>National Public Radio&#8217;s </em><em>Tell Me More</em> is  airing, the ACORN CEO says:</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;We&#8217;ve gotten leaner and meaner and  some of our state chapters have chosen to go their own way. We haven&#8217;t  been able to maintain the resources, state by state, that we had. So we  have gotten a little bit smaller. We&#8217;ve had to change some of our  programming, but we&#8217;re not dead yet.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p><strong>I believe that the ability to find information about such things is a skill that we all must have if we are to succeed, so that we are not entirely dependent on media outlets in order to get our information. <p>These are the lyrics from Mark Lindsay’s 1969, one hit wonder, <em>Arizona. </em> But, I think we need to add some honorary lyrics to this song!  How about: <em>Arizona, land of the illegal immigrants, </em>or even better! How about: <em>Arizona, where the illegal’s run wild and free. </em>It seems to fit the song perfectly!</p>
<p>Living in Arizona, I know first hand the truthfulness of these lyrics!  Our borders are virtually unprotected allowing hundreds of Mexicans to come across the border illegally each year!  Not only does this steal jobs from us legal Americans, it causes a national security threat!</p>
<p>Just this year, Arizona has lost three American life’s to illegal aliens.  They are pouring across the border in hopes for a better life, they are searching after the American dream!  This is one thing I respect.  They see what our country has to offer!  The only thing they seem not to see though are the laws of the land!  Now, do not get me wrong:  I support immigration 100%.  Its what makes our country great!  We are the melting pot!  But I do not support immigration if it means that immigrants will be coming in illegally!!  ITS ILLEGAL!</p>
<p>This week when the story about a new immigration bill in Arizona hit the national news I was thrilled! This bill will crack down on illegal immigrants and will give the police authority to question suspected illegal immigrants.  Although the national news makes this out as if Arizona is split over this issue, here locally we are thrilled!  We are tired of illegal’s taking our jobs and killing our people!</p>
<p>Last week this really hit me hard.  One of my good friends was shot twice ,by an illegal, in an attempted to break into his house.  This is why this bill needs to be passed!  I am not saying that all illegal immigrants are bad people.  All I am saying is that illegals are in fact illegal, and we MUST do something to stop these people from crossing our borders illegally.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This nation was founded on the principle that all men are created with equal rights to liberty, life, and the pursuit of happiness. Note that we were not founded on the principle that all men are created with equal rights to health care, a job, and happiness. But progressives try daily to get you to believe that this is so. While selling their government overhaul of health care (something that they are still doing after passing it into law), the Dems tried to convince you that they were doing all if this for your own good. Furthermore, they tried to convince you that you had a right to free health care. The President attempted to convince you that all Americans have a right to a job and a college education when pushing for enactment of the stimulus packages of last year. This all sounds rosy at first, but so does everything else central to the utopia that progressives envision for America.</p>
<p>The fact is that government does not have the right or obligation to take control over our health care system. Instead this is a right that is reserved for either the State or the people. Would you like to know where this is said in the Constitution? The Tenth Amendment states that:</p>
<p>The powers delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.</p>
<p>The Federal Government simply does not have the authority to initiate an overhaul of our health care system, as is seen in the Tenth Amendment.</p>

		<title>Even Obama Doesn&#8217;t Like Obama Care</title>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Today we are seeing that Obama Care advocates in Congress and the White House do not think that Obama Care is such a good idea, in fact, we have proof! The President, Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, and others who helped form this bill have included special provisions that exempt themselves from being put under this plan, while at the same time jamming it down the throats of everyone else. Even the staffers who actually wrote the bill snuck in a provision exempting them from the new plan as well. This is yet more proof that this bill is a piece of junk. It doesn&#8217;t work. Even those who want to pass it know that it is. The minority of Americans who supported this bill from the beginning are hopefully waking up now and realizing that it is all a scam. The progressives like Obama and Pelosi don&#8217;t care about your opinion or well-being. We have already seen that they don&#8217;t mind ruining our health care system when the majority of us are stringy opposed to it, but now we are seeing that they will do so without binding themselves under the same regulations. This reminds me of a quote by Michael Kingsley, who said: &#8220;The rules don&#8217;t apply to those who make them&#8221;. I think it is time to trade in our leaders for some new ones that understand the concept of leading by example.</p>

		<title>Is Obama a socialist? What does it mean for our Country?</title>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>After almost one year of Obama as our Commander in Chief there is beginning to be a lot of accusations about Obama that honestly have no facts to back them up. Some of the things that I have heard consist of: “Obama wasn’t even born in the US” and,” Obama is the Antichrist.” But the truth is, those aren’t true! But how about this one ,” Obama is a socialist.” Some may say that this comment falls right in line with the ones above and that is false. Some may say that it a ridiculous comment. Some may say it is just another way to smear Obama. The rest of this article is going to be only the facts and Obama’s words. I am going to try to keep any biased opinions out of this post.</p>
<p>During the heat of the 2008 Presidential Campaign Obama was asked about his stance on a issue. Instead of giving a direct answer he said, “ Judge me by the people I surround myself with.” Okay Mr. President we will do just that! The first person that we are going to look at is former Green Jobs Czar, Van Jones. During a speech to college students Van Jones said this, “ our Native American brothers and sisters who were<span style="font-size: x-small;"> </span>shoved into all the land that we didn&#8217;t want, Guess what? Give them the wealth! Give them then wealth! No justice on stolen land &#8230; we owe them a debt” OK so there is one person that Obama surrounds himself with, and he ended up being a supporter of socialism. But we have to be fair here. Lets look at some other people Obama “surrounds” himself with.</p>
<p>Lets take a look at Anita Dunn. Anita is the Former White House Communication’s Director. During a speech to high school students Anita said ,”the two people I admire most is Mother Teresa and Chairman Mao” IN order to fully comprehend what this quote means, we need to understand who Chairman Mao was. Mao took office in 1943. He killed a total of 70 million people while he was in office. That is more than Hitler,Stalin,and Hussein had killed…COMBINED! Now not only did he commit mass genocide, he only had one way of thinking when it came to Economics. Socialism.</p>
<p>Okay so now that we have seen some of the people that Obama surrounds himself with and what they support, lets look at Obama’s words. During Obama’s campaign he made a stop in a small town in Ohio. While he was there, a man by the name of Joe Wurzelbacher was in his lawn playing football with his son, and he noticed Obama taking questions. He explained that by working hard (10-12 hours a day) he was in a position to buy a business. If he bought a truck and expanded the business, he wondered if his success would be greeted by a penalty in the form of higher taxes.</p>
<p>Obama answered,” It’s not that I want to punish your success, I just want to make sure that everybody who is behind you, that they’ve got a chance for success too. My attitude is that if the economy’s good for folks from the bottom up, it’s gonna be good for everybody … <span style="color: #ff0000;"><strong>I think when you spread the wealth around, it’s good for everybody.”</strong></span>Spread the wealth around. That means take from the evil bad guys with all the money, and taking the money of those who worked their whole life to earn, and give it to the guys on the couch with a six pack of beer and a half empty bag of potato chips!</p>
<p>On July 4<sup>th</sup>, 1776 a group of 56 men got together and wrote a document that would change the world. A document that was based on God, honesty, justice, liberty and most of all hard work. Our country was founded with men in a suit and tie. People in our country worked to get what they had. They got their hands dirty, worked all day and night, and worked their way to success. When our country was founded there wasn’t talk of socialism or capitalism! They knew that in order to reap a harvest they had to be out there tilling the ground, planting seeds, and watering the ground so that when harvest comes they will have a full crop.</p>
<p>When our country was founded there was no such thing as Socialism. In fact there was no such thing as capitalism! The only thing they knew is what every human being knows: What one earns is what one keeps. For two hundred years our country has worked and thrived under this system, why in the world would we try to change the system now?</p>
<p>Based on who Obama surrounds himself with and based on what he has said, I think it is safe to say that yes, Obama is a socialist. And yes Obama wants to Steal from the rich and give to the lazy..oops, I mean poor. Obama has made history in many ways by becoming president, but if he accomplishes everything on his hidden agenda of socialism, history will not only be made, it will be changed. We wont be the strongest nation anymore that our history books paint a picture of. We will be the country that doesn’t have any motivation to work hard, because the government will give us everything we need. We wont be who our founding fathers meant for us to be.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In the Twenty-first century, the Christian principles that our nation was founded upon are all but forgotten by the majority of humanity. We live in a day and age where the Ten Commandments cannot be displayed in public, where the first amendment has been misinterpreted by the Supreme Court to mean a &#8220;wall of separation&#8221; between church and state, and public prayers in schools are not allowed. Intellectual leaders in academia and the political realm deny that our country has any Christian heritage whatsoever. Today I want to provide you with substantial evidence with which to thwart the outrageous claims made by those who doubt our country&#8217;s Godly heritage. America was indeed founded on Christian principles, and today will show you several quotes from men who played significant roles in the early stages of America&#8217;s development that make it hard to believe otherwise.</p>
<p><span>Thomas Jefferson, a very influential founder and our nation&#8217;s third President, was a staunch supporter of religious freedom. In a letter to the Dansbury Baptists, he calls the First Amendment: &#8220;A wall of separation between church and State&#8221;. Many allude to Thomas Jefferson&#8217;s misleading metaphor, using it to justify the removing of public displays of Christianity, and then they themselves incorrectly describe the First Amendment as such. In actuality, the first amendment was created in order to restrict the Federal government from favoring one sect of Christianity over another, as well as to allow citizens of any religion to display it in public.<br />

<p><span>The Declaration of Independence contains public expression of devotion to the Christian God when it uses phrases like these:<br />

<p><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span>“Nature’s God” (i.e., an 18th century way to refer to the God Who created nature), “all men are <strong>created</strong> equal” and “endowed by their <strong>Creator</strong>,” “appealing to the <strong>Supreme Judge</strong> of the world,” and “with a firm reliance on the protection of <strong>divine Providence</strong>” (<em>The Declaration</em>&#8230;)</span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></p>
<p><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span>The Federal Constitution:</span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></p>
<p><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span>George Mason, the &#8220;Father of the Bill of Rights&#8221; proposed the following as the text for the first Amendment:</span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></p>
<blockquote><p><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span>[A]ll men have an equal, natural and unalienable right to the free exercise of religion, according to the dictates of conscience; and that <strong>no particular sect or society of Christians</strong> ought to be favored or established by law in preference to others (Rowland, 1892, 1:244, emp. added).</span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></p></blockquote>
<p>America was considered a Christian nation for nearly two centuries. The above was suggested as text for the First Amendment because the founders wanted to ensure that no particular sect of Christianity was elevated above the others, as well as to make it certain that the Federal government did not adopt a State religion. Since the early 20th Century, radical socialistic organizations like the ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union) have been trying (and largely succeeding) to erase Christianity from the public arena. In 2003, at the same time that a  Federal Judge told the Chief Justice of the Alabama State Supreme Court that a public display of the Ten Commandments had to be taken down, California unveiled in Sacramento, at the California Veterans Memorial that reads: “In Honor of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender Veterans Killed in Action” (Sanders, 2003)</p>
<p>This kind of thing exposes the true liberal agenda. The fact is that America was originally intended to be a Christian nation. The ACLU has been attacking the Christian faith for ninety years, wrongly asserting that the public display of  religion is what The First Amendment was made to repel. However, quite the opposite is true. The First Amendment was made in order to allow every citizen to practice his religion of choice freely in private or public without any opposition by the Federal government. One must look no further than the delegate discussions pertaining to the First amendment (Annals of Congress, 1789), to see that pluralization of America&#8217;s culture was not the objective.</p>
<p>As further proof that America was founded on Christian principles, the Federal constitution contains a direct reference to Jesus Christ! Read the following excerpt from Article 1 section 7 to see what I am referring to:<br />
“If any Bill shall not be returned by the President within ten Days (Sundays excepted) after it shall have been presented to him, the Same shall be a Law, in like Manner as if he had signed it&#8230;.”</p>
<p>Sunday is the day of the week when Christians traditionally meet together in congregations across the globe and worship God. If the founders wanted to show pluratism, they wouldn&#8217;t have picked Sunday. If they wanted to acknowledge Jewish custom, they would have picked Saturday. But they picked Sunday, yet another example of early Americans showing devotion towards their Creator in a public and political place.</p>
<p>Immediately after Article 7, the Constitution closes with these words:</p>

<p><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span>Christianity dates human history in terms of the birth of Christ. B.C stands for &#8220;Before Christ&#8221;, and A.D. </span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span>is the abbreviation for the Latin words “<em>anno Domini</em>,” meaning “year of our Lord.”</span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></p>
<p><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span>There is no doubt that America was founded on Christianity. However, this does mean that citizens of other nations cannot live in America and enjoy the same freedom as the rest of us do. </span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></p>
<p><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span>On March 4, 1921, right after the close of World War I, Warren G. Harding delivered his inaugural speech:</span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></p>

<p>Thursday night I read an article that a friend of mine has posted to the forums, where he talked about the subject of population control, and I decided to write my own feelings about the matter.</p>
<p>Proponents of population control have been telling us for several decades now that there are too many people in the world. The UN pushes for its members to practice population control, which usually includes abortion, euthanasia, and contraceptives. For example, in China you are only allowed to have one child, and in some cases two. And you have to pay for the right to have even one child. Many advocates of population control have been pushing for the United States to reduce our population by similar methods. Take, for example, this exerpt from James Coleman and Donald Cressey’s <em>Social Problems</em>, one of the standard social science textbooks from the nineties:<br />
The world’s population is exploding. The number of men, women and children is now over 5 billion. … If the current rate of growth continues, the world’s population will double again in the next 40 years…the dangers of runaway population growth can be seen in historical perspective… It took all of human history until 1800 for the world’s population to reach 1 billion people. But the next … 1 billion was added in only 130 years (1800-1930), [the next billion] after that in 30 years (1930-1960), and the next in 15 years (1960-1975). The last billion people were added in only 12 years (1975-1987). If this trend (of runaway population growth) continues the world will be soon be adding a billion people a year, and eventually every month. [Italics added]</p>
<p>The proponents of population control argue that the world&#8217;s population has been doubling so fast because people were breeding like rabbits, when in reality, it was due to life expectancy increasing dramatically. During the period of time covered in the passage above, the fertility rate has been decreasing. consider this excerpt from the Population Research Institute, in an article titled: <em><a href="http://pop.org/20090122808/white-pestilence">The White Pestilence</a>:</em></p>
<blockquote><p>Like other Baby Boomers, I lived through the unprecedented doubling of the global population in the second half of the 20<sup>th</sup> century.  Never before in human history had our numbers increased so far, so fast: from 3 billion in 1960 to 6 billion in 2000.  But Ehrlich and Company, I came to see, glossed over the underlying reason:  Our numbers didn’t double because we suddenly started breeding like rabbits.  They doubled because <em>we stopped dying like flies</em>.  Fertility was falling throughout this period, from an average of 6 children per woman in 1960 to only 2.6 by 2002.</p></blockquote>
<p>Speaking of the life expectancy rate going up drastically, have you heard of the pesticide called DDT? DDT is a pesticide used to fight back against malaria and other insect borne diseases. <span>In 1970 the National Academy of Sciences, in their book <em>Life Sciences</em>, stated that,</span></p>
<blockquote><p><span> &#8220;<em>In little more than two decades </em>DDT<em> has prevented 500 million deaths due to malaria</em>.&#8221; </span></p></blockquote>
<p>After DDT was proven to be the most harmless pesticide known to man, the UN pushed for the banning of DDT, and was successful. The UN is a big supporter of population control , so this doesn&#8217;t come as a suprise to me. It is sobering to see world powers use their power to ban the use of a substance that has saved millions of lives in the past, all because they think there are too many people in the world.</p>
<p>So back to the dropping fertility rate. Those who push population control argue that we are going to see a population explosion in the next few decades, however, for several decades now, the fertility rate has been dropping immensely.</p>
<p>So why the sudden drop in fertility rate? I think that it is due to the fall of the traditional family. Throughout the world, the number of people who abstain from sexual activity until marriage, as well as the number of people who remain faithful to their spouse, are getting fewer and fewer. And there are many people who would rather stay single, and don&#8217;t ever give a thought to having children. I am sure there are many other factors that weigh into this, but this is a big one for sure. Of course population control has played a role as well. Countries that practice population control by putting a limit on the amount of kids that you can have, for example China, have a dangerously low fertility rate.</p>
<p>Because of this, the world&#8217;s population is near it&#8217;s apex. After that, it will start to fall. That&#8217;s right, rather than seeing a population <em>explosion</em> in the next few decades, we are going to see a population <em>implosion</em>. The world&#8217;s population is expected to reach it&#8217;s apogee in 2040. If current trends in fertility rates continue, then the world&#8217;s population at that time is estimated to be around 7.6 billion. After that, it is expected to start falling, reaching 5 billion by the turn of the century.</p>
<p>Population control is evil, and also completely unnecessary. Advocates of population control promise that &#8220;cutting out the cancer&#8221; will ensure prosperity for the majority at the sacrifice of the minority. Sounds a lot like communism to me. Also, population control will cause problems worldwide that are unimaginable. I will end with yet another excerpt from the <a href="http://pop.org">Population Research Institute</a>&#8216;s article: <a href="http://pop.org/20090122808/white-pestilence">The White Pestilence</a>:</p>
<blockquote><p>By 2004, the U.N. Population Division (UNDP) found that 65 countries, including 22 in the less developed world, had fertility rates that were below the level needed to ensure the long-term survival of the population.<sup><a name="sdendnote9anc" href="http://pop.org/20090122808/white-pestilence#sdendnote9sym"></a></sup> Most of the rest, the agency warned, were likely to enter this danger zone over the next few decades.  According to the agency’s “low-variant” projection, historically the most accurate, by 2050 three out of every four countries in the less developed regions will be experiencing the same kind of below-replacement fertility that is hollowing out the populations of developed countries today.<sup><a name="sdendnote10anc" href="http://pop.org/20090122808/white-pestilence#sdendnote10sym"> </a></sup>Such stark drops in fertility, cautioned the UNPD, will result in a rapid aging of the populations of developed and developing countries alike.  With the number of people over 65 slated to explode from 475 million in 2000 to 1.46 billion in 2050, existing social security systems will be threatened with collapse.<sup><a name="sdendnote11anc" href="http://pop.org/20090122808/white-pestilence#sdendnote11sym"></a></sup> It will prove difficult, if not impossible, to establish new ones.</p></blockquote>
<p>Population control is a scheme concocted by globalist politicians who don&#8217;t push it in order to save the planet, but to gain power and money, no matter what means they have to use to achieve it.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This is the first post in a series of posts I am writing regarding the propaganda surrounding Obama Care. This series is designed to seperate fact from fiction in regards to Obama Care. For those of you who oppose health care reform, I hope this seriest will arm you with the facts to oppose the propaganda coming from Washington and the Media. For you readers who support Obama Care, I hope that after reading this you will understand that Obama Care will not improve our health care, instead it will only cripple it further.</p>
<p>Those who support health care reform will try to tell you that our health care is in dire need of reform, and that Obama Care will better it. This is simply untrue. Sure our health care system isn&#8217;t perfect, but when it comes to emergency care and specialized treatment, our health care out performs others where health care is regulated and rationed out to the people by government. Although they won&#8217;t admit it, Obama Care will do just that. The public option presented in Obama Care,(by the way, Obama will not take this out of health care reform, no matter what he says on TV) is a government regulated alternative to private insurance that become the main source of health care for Americans if the American Affordable Health Choices Act assumes full implementation in 2011.</p>
<p>Another frightning aspect of Obama Care is the massive spending involved. Ever since Obama got elected, the administration has been spending us into oblivion. Earlier this year, Congress passed the Economic Recovery Act of 2009, which cost a total of $800 billion. If passed, Obama Care will cost over $1 trillion!  One day we will pay for all of the spending in Washington. It is critically important to our nation that we stop this massive spending. Already Washington has buried our country in debt that will take years of effort by we the people to get out of.</p>
<p>It is very disappointing to know that so many Americans either don&#8217;t know or don&#8217;t care about the poor decisions that politicians make these days. If more Americans cared about the welfare of their country, these idiots would not have ever been elected. It is our job to educate ourselves of the world around us, and to speack out in defence of our beliefs. This current crisis has arisen from our lack of ability to stand up and fight for what we believe in. Let&#8217;s take back our country.</p>
