Teens for Liberty

It is time for us to form a plan for the Presidential elections in 2012. Those of us who want to return America to the days of old common law and limited government need to find an honest candidate who is capable of winning the Republican primary, and that, once elected, will stick to the conservative principles that he or she campaigned with. We need to take special care to ensure tha tour next President is not someone who will go down the same road as Presidents that have lead our country in the past, who campaign with certain principles, but then ditch those principles once they get into office.

For example, Franklin D. Roosevelt told us that he was against war, but he pushed for America to enter World War II. He froze all Japanese assets, cut off the Japanese oil supply, and stopped Japanese access to iron and other vital raw materials.This man was effected by the desire to attain more political power, and was made corrupt by it.

We the people should make it our goal to get someone into office who will resist the urge to acquire more political power, and who will push to reduce the size of our government.

There is a mass shortage of honest people in the political realm, so finding a candidate who will reflect our values will be difficult. In the next couple of years, we will start to see a few candidates for the Republican primary. But we will need to do a lot of background checking in order to find an honest individual who reflects the values of our founding fathers. Remember,

The key to turning our country back is for we the people to speak up, and to remind our government that they work for us, and we will not vote into office anyone who acts differently. For too long we have allowed corrupt people to deceive us into thinking that they will give us whatever we want, and then when they get into office they follow their own political agendas and forget their promises. Our country will see it’s demise if we continue down this path.

His book does a good job of explaining the political philosophy behind the American Revolution, and is chock full of good information that every American should know.

While we are talking about getting conservative, honest people into our Government to replace the corruption that exists now, you may want to check out their website. The site is run by Jeff Bolton, and he suggests that come 2010, we vote every single Congressman and woman out of office and start from scratch.

In today’s day of age, we are told that it is unacceptable to say or speak of something that someone might take offense to.   In our American culture we are taught from a young age that we have to meticulously pick the words we speak with extreme caution, or else we may…brace yourselves, this is terrible… hurt somebody’s feelings!  This utopia ideology that nobody will be offended is called Political Correctness.   The origin of this ideology was first developed in Frankfurt, Germany in 1923 at the Institute for Social Research.   The reason that the researches at this institute were developing a new social way of talking wasn’t because they wanted to be nice though.  They had a question that weighed heavily on their minds:Why wasn’t communism spreading?  The answer they came up with stated that western civilization was the road block.  They believed that the fact that individuals could individually come up with their own thinking, theories and ideas was putting a big dent in the spread of communism.

But what does all of that have to do with America?  Last week Major Hassan went on a shooting rampage in the biggest military post in America, killing 13.   Political Correctness in America (that in itself is wrong! Its a communist idea for goodness sakes!) has restrained American citizens from deeming Hassan what he really is: a radical Islamic terrorist pig that killed thirteen Americans in cold blood!  Most of America’s mainstream media sources refuse to even remotely tie Hassan to any sort of terrorists.

That quote leaves me in shock.  Literally I don’t know what good ol’ MR. Matthews was thinking! Oh that’s right, he doesn’t want to hurt anybody’s feelings!  I mean, what will we ever do if somebody actually gets their feelings hurt because we called somebody a terrorist!  In the course of two years, the FBI had intercepted 20-30 emails from Hassan  to a radical cleric in Yemen.   But for some reason that doesnt mean anything to liberal left wing media sorces.  They still refuse to call him a terrorist.  If the emails arnt enough to convince, how about the fact that he yelled “Allahu Akbar” ? Or how about how he said,” Muslims love death more than Americans love life!!”  Not only should that quote have been a for shadowing of what was going to happen at Fort Hood but it should get through the mind of everybody in America that Hassan was in fact a terrorist.  A terrorist that believed that if he killed Americans, he would be saved.  Plain ans simple.  Let’s not let political correctness keep us from deem us from calling Hassan what he really deserves to be called!

Late Saturday night, the progressives in Congress succeeded in passing their health care bill through the House. A vote in the Senate could be scheduled for as early as next week. The vote in the House was very close, and the race in the Senate is expected to be as well. It is essential that we defeat this bill. The effects that this bill will have on our country are profound. For those of you who live in States where your Senators have not spoken out against this bill, please e-mail/call your Senator’s offices and ask them to oppose it. I am optimistic that we can get this rejected before it is signed into law. The radical progressives in our government will back down from their socialist agendas if they are put under enough pressure to do so. Just today, White House Communications Director Anita Dunn resigned from her office after being put under enormous pressure over statements she made earlier this year concerning her admiration of Mao Ste Tung, one of the most ruthless dictators of the Twentieth century, who took over China and killed millions of people in the process.

Below is a video clip from the well known , Sesame Street. Sesame Street airs on PBS, which receives federal funding. In this clip, Sesame Street takes a jab at Fox News Channel. I am astonished. This is yet another example of the mainstream media’s liberal bias, and their willingness to try and indoctrinate children to reflect their views.

Please pray for the families of the men and women killed or wounded by gunman, Nidal Hasin, a Major,  who opened fire at Fort Hood military base, located outside of Killeen Texas, after shouting “Allahu Akbar!” — “God is great!” in Arabic, killing thirteen and wounding thirty-eight before being shot down by a civilian police officer and put into custody. The President spoke briefly about the shootings yesterday, but only after spending half of his time on stage thanking various staffers and giving a shout out to some guy who won a Congressional Medal of Honor. Then he changed the tone of his voice and started to address the issue. When is the President going to face up to the very real danger that radical Islam is to America? The war on terrorism is still being fought, regardless of the President’s indecision over a military strategy for winning the war in Afghanistan.  General MCchrystal still needs more troops, but the administration is doing nothing about it, because they are too worried about winning the next election, passing health care “reform”, and pushing their socialist agendas. Pray for those serving abroad, and pray for our nation’s safety.
